FOODS & NUTRITION 10 (HEF 10 -#690) This is a study of human nutrition and food preparation. Course content is 50% theory and 50% practical work. This is a more in depth study of sanitation, nutrition, meal planning and preparation, as well as advanced baking techniques. Duties also involve prep for lunch program along with time for service. (Applied Skills)


CAFETERIA TRAINING 11 (CAFT 11 - # 590) A beginning course in the food industry. Food safe Level one is a requirement. Food preparation techniques and safety are emphasized. Extra time commitments for work in the lunch program is mandatory. (Applied Skills)


CAFETERIA TRAINING 12 (CAFT 12 - # 490) An extension of Cafeteria 11 with greater emphasis on menu planning, inventory control and food preparation, techniques. Food Safe Level one is a requirement for this course. Extra time commitment is mandatory for work in the lunch program. This is a required course for Hospitality Career Preparation students. Jr. Course

FOODS & NUTRITION 9 (FN9 - #790) This is a study of human nutrition and food preparation. Course content is 50% theory and 50% practical work. Safety, sanitation, nutrition and meal planning are some of the theory assignments. Practical work covers baking to meal preparation. Food Safe Level 1 is also a component of the course.
